We're looking forward to you our next educational seminar which is under negotation at the moment. More news on this soon.
What a nice time!
Our latest social luncheon in March, was at a lovely little café in Revesby.
We had about 20 adults turned up and 3 children including one of our youngest members, Max.
It was great to see familiar faces and also to meet some new people. It was a great day catching up with people and talking about their pituitary conditions in a social, relaxed environment. All in all it was a good informative day for me, especially as I had read about a lot of the different conditions but found it so much better to actually hear about everyone’s personal experiences.
We spoke about what was going on in our lives, condition wise, and what we would like to see and hear at our future seminars. This is really important so we can try and cover topics that you are interested in and want to learn more about.
Thanks everyone for a great day and we hope to see you soon.

Pituitary Awareness Seminar
The Pituitary Hormone Replacement and Suppressants Seminar was held on Saturday 21 November at Concord Hospital. This was the first seminar I was attending as the NSW Co-ordinator, it was daunting at first, but I was very pleased with it. We had great attendance, especially since it was organised at short notice.
Our three speakers, Klaus Sommer, Moira Fraser and Bin Moore spoke about pituitary hormone replacements and suppressants. Their talks were very informative and on the practical side, the injection workshop was really good, I was glad to see people taking the time to have a go.
The talk on menopause was widely accepted and informative explaining the role the pituitary gland plays. It was nice to see that Klaus, Bin, and Moira stayed after their talks and were able to speak to people on a more personal level. As for myself, I was able to meet and talk to others who also have Pituitary problems.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day and I hope that others felt the same.
Moira Fraser did a wonderful presentation on Menopause
I am hoping to have a small informal lunch with a guest speaker in the New Year, more details to follow once organised.
Special thanks to Russ and Jan Fairweather and Sue Kozij for helping me and for Noel Hickey for coming down from QLD to help on the day.
